Lipoma and Sebaceous Cyst Treatment

Lipoma and Sebaceous Cyst are the most common benign lumps under the skin. While they are usually harmless, they can grow in size, get infected, cause pain, or become a cosmetic concern. Dr. Sushanti Jadhav offers safe, scar-minimal surgical excision in Chembur for patients.

What is Lipoma?

A Lipoma is a soft, fatty lump that grows slowly between the skin and muscle layer. It is most commonly found on the neck, shoulders, back, arms, and thighs.

What is a Sebaceous Cyst?

A Sebaceous Cyst (Epidermoid Cyst) forms when a sebaceous gland gets blocked. It is filled with a thick, yellowish, foul-smelling material and is common on the scalp, face, neck, and back.
